Dog friendly facilities

We understand that your pet is one of the family and you want them to enjoy everything about your holidays. On your dog-friendly holiday here in Devon we have a range of facilities in the park to help your pooch fit right in!

• Clean Paws Dog Spa

There’s nothing a dog likes better than getting out and about and exploring and it’s a joy to watch them frolic along countryside walks or running free along a beautiful beach. However, as every dog owner knows, the joys of pets running free also come with the danger of your mutt getting muddy paws!

So with your canine friend in mind, we have designed and built a bespoke dog wash. We named it Clean Paws and it is equipped with a dog bath a hot water shower and a doggie hair dryer – and best of all, it’s free of charge to use!

• On site shop

Need supplies? Oakdown has a handy shop on-site that sells everyday goods, plus a selected range of dog essentials and treats, including dog-friendly shampoo that you can use in the dog spa.

• Oak Mead Café

Enjoy a drink or ice cream on the terrace of our on-site café after a busy day. Oak Mead Café welcomes you and your pet on the pleasant terrace outside the café, where you can treat the pet with some dog-friendly ice cream.

• Dog friendly accommodation

There’s a choice of five dog-friendly caravans  here in our holiday park in Devon, plus our camping pods are dog-friendly if you fancy a bit of glamping. The camping pods can also come with a special pup tent that can be hired at a nightly rate.

• Dog friendly touring pitches

Touring with your own caravan or tent? All our pitches welcome the family pet.

• Walks directly off park

The park itself is open and spacious, ideal for stretching both your legs and your pets. Just off the park you can follow the walking trail to the nearby Donkey Sanctuary and onwards to the coast. Plus there are a multitude of  walks  in the nearby area that we can recommend for families with pets.
