The sixty second tour
Through the entrance
Reception is on your right as you come in, with a reserved disabled bay directly outside plus automatic doors. Beyond it the park opens out into groves rather than rows — no straight lines, just gentle curves laid out over fifty years.
The pitches
Ninety-seven touring pitches in non serviced, serviced plus super serviced. Tents go on the grass. Beyond them sit sixteen lodges plus the glamping units — barrel pods, premier pods then the shepherd’s huts.
The amenity blocks
Two of them, one on the main park then one on Beech Grove. Showers, toilets, laundry plus dishwashing, each with a large family bathroom holding most of the accessible fittings.
For children plus dogs
Two play areas, one either side of the park. Clean Paws, our dog spa, sits between them — a ramp, a bath, a hot water shower plus a dryer, free to use all day.
Out of the back gate
The field trail runs along our northern boundary out towards the Donkey Sanctuary, fifteen minutes on foot with no road to cross. The Victorian reed bed is on the way, with the bird hide beside it.
Over the road
Oak Mead — our nine hole par three course, the café plus the shop. Open all year, to visitors as well as guests.
Back out again
The Route 899 stops at the gates. Sidmouth is three miles away, the South West Coast Path a fifteen minute walk.
