Dog friendly caravans

Don’t want to leave your four-legged friend behind? Now you can bring all of the family with you on holiday when you book one of our dog-friendly caravans in Devon.

Our relaxing and quiet holiday park near Sidmouth is set in tranquil surroundings, perfect for a pet-friendly holiday. The park feels spacious and open and its great location means that it is easy to access plenty of dog-friendly walks close by.

Oakdown offers five superb pet-friendly Leisure Lodges. These luxury caravans are finished to the highest standard, with double-glazing and full central heating. There’s a spacious kitchen, kitted out with all home-from-home mod cons including a microwave, and fridge freezer plus there are two centrally heated bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a comfortable lounge complete with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and electric fire.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome in the dog-friendly Caravan Leisure Lodge. There’s plenty of space for your dog beds so please bring all your normal pet paraphernalia and encourage your pets to keep off the beds and furniture. We also request that your pets are not to be left unattended in your accommodation.

Pets are welcome around the park but are to be kept on a lead at all times and exercised off the park. Head over to the Donkey Sanctuary trail, just 30 yards from the Park entrance for an easy walk directly from the park. This pretty trail forms part of the South West Coast Path and leads to the well-known Devon Donkey Sanctuary. You can continue on from here down to the cliff tops overlooking the sea and back on a circular walking route.

And don’t forget that the  Pet Spa  is ready for you to give your mutt a wash when you get back!

The pet-friendly accommodation at Oakdown Holiday Park is limited and very popular so please book early to avoid disappointment.
