Devon glamping premier pods
Two premier pods in The Shire, our dedicated glamping grove, with a little more room to breathe. Three linked rooms — a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a central dining and kitchen area — separated by curtains for privacy. Dogs are welcome.
Our luxury glamping pods suit families who want space without giving up the outdoors. There is level access throughout with no step, plus a canopied deck with a love seat for the evenings.

Good to know
Bedding is not provided in the premier pods. Bedding packs are available at £15 per bed if you would rather not bring your own.
Minimum stay is two nights. Some high season dates and events need longer, so please check with reception.
Level access throughout with no step up into the pod. Parking is a short walk away, with water and waste points nearby.
Dogs are welcome
Dogs are welcome in both premier pods. They must not be left unattended in the pod at any time. Please bring your dog’s own bedding.
Clean Paws, our purpose-built dog wash, is a short stroll away and free to use. The Donkey Sanctuary field trail is fifteen minutes on foot from the park gate — level ground, no stiles, all weathers.

Everything close by
A dedicated toilet block with a dishwashing area sits right beside The Shire, for glamping guests only. The main amenities block is a short walk away with showers, baths, toilets and full laundry facilities.

Comparing the three
Premier pods are the roomiest of our three glamping options, with three linked rooms and level access. Barrel pods are more compact, with one small step up. The shepherd’s huts add a BBQ, a television and bedding included — they are reserved for guests without pets.
