Power where you need it
Serviced pitches
A level pitch with an electric hook-up, on grass or hard standing.
A serviced pitch gives you electricity at the pitch. Water and waste come from the amenity block, which is never far — five pitches sit within about ten metres of it. The rest are a short walk.
You can have grass or hard standing. Grass is the softer, greener option through the summer. It is also the one to book if you are in a tent. Hard standing comes into its own in early and late season, or in a wet week. It also suits a heavier outfit. We do not take tents on hard standing — the gravel is large enough to tear a groundsheet.
What you get
On the pitch
- Electric hook-up at the pitch
- Grass or hard standing, your choice when you book
- Level ground, closely mown and generous in size
- Parking alongside your own pitch
- Water and waste from the amenity block
Who it suits
The pitch most tourers book
This is the middle option and the one most touring caravans and motorhomes choose. You get power for the fridge, the kettle and the heating, without paying for services you would not use.
If you would rather have water and grey waste at the pitch as well, look at our super serviced pitches. If you do not need power at all, the non serviced pitches cost less.
