Events in East Devon
For a quiet corner of the country there is a great deal on. Sidmouth alone carries a folk festival, a jazz festival, a science festival, a regatta plus an illuminated carnival. Beyond it, Dorset adds agricultural shows, food festivals plus one of the strangest traditions in Britain.
We keep a guide to every month, written locally rather than lifted from a listings site.

Festivals, carnivals plus the tar barrels, from the years we remembered the camera.
We add to these galleries as the seasons come and go, so there is usually something new here. If you take a photograph you are pleased with, share it with us on Facebook. We will take that as a yes to using it on the website. We will always credit you.
