Glamping in Devon — The Shire
Leave the tent pegs at home. The Shire is Oakdown’s dedicated glamping area — barrel pods, premier pods and shepherd’s huts, all nestled in their own peaceful grove.
The Shire is nestled in its own glamping grove on our AA Five Star park — surrounded by grass and nature, with outside seating and a tranquil atmosphere that is a world away from putting up a tent in the rain. Three glamping experiences to choose from, each sleeping up to four guests.
Dogs are welcome in the barrel pods and premier pods. Our shepherd’s huts are reserved for guests without pets. All glamping guests have their own dedicated toilet block close by.
