Take a day outside testing your golf skills. Oak Mead is a family-friendly nine-hole par-3 golf course, right opposite Oakdown Holiday Park. Guests staying with us even get a discount.

Let the kids burn off some energy while you relax. We have two play areas on site — one near the Oak Mead Café, plus a brand new £100,000 playpark just 80 metres from reception. Making Oakdown the perfect spot for a fun, family-friendly break.

Scenic Field Trail to the Donkey Sanctuary & Bird Hide
One of our favourite features — the private field trail that leads you straight to the famous Donkey Sanctuary. It’s a lovely countryside walk and you might even spot some wildlife along the way.

Clean, warm and well-equipped — our amenities blocks make camping that bit more comfortable. You’ll find showers, toilets, laundry rooms and dishwashing areas, all kept to the highest standard.
For your canine friend
Clean Paws — Our Free Dog Wash
With your canine friend in mind, we’ve built a bespoke dog wash. We’ve named it Clean Paws — your dog climbs a ramp into a secure area, where you can give them a proper shower with hot water and a doggie hair dryer to finish.
As with everything at Oakdown, we’ve made this as eco-friendly as possible. We’ve installed solar lighting and our solar panels offset some of the electricity, plus we’ve reduced our carbon footprint by using recycled materials from the site and working with local companies.
