Bird Hides

Our coastal location makes for fantastic wildlife observation with a vast amount of seabirds nesting and feeding in the area. We have several on-site bird hides to give you the very best opportunity to viewing the local wildlife. We have a booklet available in our amenities block which gives a list of the flowers, insects and birds that can be spotted in our ‘hide’.

Golf

Take things slow with a day outside testing your golf skills. Oakmead  is a family friendly 9 hole par 3 golf course situated opposite Oakdown Holiday Park. Oakdowners get discount too!

Play Areas

Kids love being outdoors, so our range of outdoor play areas are a fantastic way for them to let off some steam. Suitable for children of all ages, our jungle gyms, slides and swings will have them entertained for hours.

Field Trail leading to the Donkey Sanctuary and Bird Hide

Make the most of being outdoors and enjoy the fresh air on our peaceful field trail.  The entrance is opposite the Main Entrance to Oakdown and accessed by a small gate. This lovely level walk takes you directly to the Famous Donkey Sanctuary.
