Oakdown goes European!

	Oakdown is thrilled to announce it's latest award - from Alan Rogers Guides. Roger and Doreen Franks are seen receiving the award at the UTRECT Holiday Exhibition in the Netherlands on the 8th January 2008. The award was the Alan Rogers Country Award, The Judges comments were :- "A friendly family site set amidst some magnificent Devon Countryside. This site has been sensitively developed and offers many opportunities to appreciate local wildlife from a setting where the environment is a natural extension of the holiday experience". the 2 runners up Parks were from the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.



2007 South West Tourism "Caravan Holiday Park of the Year" and National "Silver award" winner in the Enjoy England for Excellence Awards (known as the Tourism Oscars).

The Gold Excellence Award

	The Excellence in England Awards are known as "The Oscars" in the tourism world. Oakdown is delighted to have won this prestigious award and to be "Caravan Holiday Park of the Year 2003", both Nationally and for the South West Region. Journalist Sue Lawley presents the Gold Award to the Franks family at Billingsgate Old Fish Market on the Thames Embankment on the 23rd April 2003.
