Take some time out from exploring The Jurassic Coast and our beautiful surrounding area to visit our Oak Lodge Cafe.
The Oak Lodge Café is open 8am – 8pm (times subject to change when the park is closed) 7 days a week and is also open to non residents. Tim and Trish will be serving the popular Oakdown Breakfast, along with a variety of breakfast baps, teas, coffees, cakes etc,,, along with freshly baked on site croissants and bread rolls. The also have Chunk Pies, American Roll Over hotdogs, freshly cooked to order pizzas and as if that’s not enough, Tim and Trish make their own Italian Gelato ice cream.
They have also re stocked the shop. You will find a fridge filled with cold meats and dairy products, shelves stacked with tins and various dry goods including cereals, pasta, crisps and biscuits. They also have some gluten free/dairy free options. There is a selection of camping goods, toys, souvenirs, walking maps, bus time tables, tide times, postcards etc… in the shop too.
Opened on May 1st 2006 by District Councillor Mike Green, the Oak Lodge offers a warm welcome.
Please note – no dogs in the café but, there is plenty of outdoor and under cover seating.
The café is also open to non residents
