The Oak Mead Cafe and shop are now open for the 2019 Season.
Opening hours are 8.30am to 5pm, Sunday to Thursday and until 7pm on Friday and Saturday
Tim and Trish have been busy while the Park has been closed. They have been contacting, and visiting, local producers and suppliers to enhance the food and drink that they can provide in the café.
This season they will still be serving the popular Full English Breakfast and various breakfast baps. There will also be the usual warm pies/pasties, sandwiches, cakes and now jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings.
The café is well known for the amazing Italian Gelato and this year they will be making gelato sundaes and gelato milkshakes. They have also recently signed up to stock Walls VEGAN ice creams. Tim also makes sorbets which are suitable for a dairy free diet.
Last but not least, the artisan pizzas will be available again this year with a choice of toppings – all cooked onsite while you wait.
Along with all the above there is a wide range of barista style coffees and teas and other hot and cold beverages.
The café has lactose free milk and a small selection of gluten free cakes for allergy sufferers.
Please note – The café is open to NON RESIDENTS
Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating area and in the marquee but not inside the café.
