We have taken our tourer caravan all over England & France. This is, by far, the BEST site we have stayed on.

The staff are the most helful and friendly

Spotlessly Clean

Great amenities

Perfect Location, beautiful site, well kept

I could go on but I want to mention the family & disabled  amenities, just perfect!

My daughter (who is disabled) Your disabled amenities deserves an award.

Cant think of how you could improve.

What a lovely, lovely holiday park this is! We camped for one week at the end of May. Our (astroturf) pitch was large enough to accommodate our large tent, small trailer and car with ease. The site is very well maintained. The amenities are excellent, very clean and the showers nice and warm and well laid out. ALL staff we met were so helpful and friendly. We visited the coffee shop several times and enjoyed breakfasts and cakes….both lovely!! The Donkey Sanctuary can be reached via a walk from the campsite. The Hopper bus (free but donations welcome) is a great way to get into Sidmouth and back. A great site….we will return!!

This is the second time we have stayed at Oakdown and we will be back again soon. We have stayed at various sites in the area over the years and this site is the best by far. The facilities are kept impressively clean and the site itself well maintained. The site allows dogs which is great for us with our Springer Spaniel and Docker. The staff have always been friendly and very helpful as have our fellow holidaymakers. We look forward to many more holidays on the site as it is well positioned to catch up with our relatives in the area. Would recommend the site to any of my friends.

Oakdown is an excellent site, the services are first class and the staff are so friendly and welcoming you hate leaving. Our Grandchildren really look forward in coming.
We have told all our friends and family they must be bored with us talking about Oakdown.
Its ‘a site to stay in and a site to dream in’
The dog walking facility is great we use it just to walk along and we do not have a dog.
There is everything you need, washing machines, driers, freezer, ironing and family bath rooms.
It is an excellent area for walking in.
The nearby Donkey Sanctuary is a must for all ages.
We just keep coming back.

We have just returned from a week camping at Oakdown, a lovely, clean, peaceful site. The Hopper bus into Sidmouth is a useful free service (the driver accepts donations). Shower/wc facilities are excellent – no spiders in the corners as is usual on campsites! Staff went out of their way to help us when we had a problem.

What a fantastic site. We spent 10 days here last summer in our tourer. The kids playground was fantastic and catered for every age and ability. Which makes a refreshing change. As my youngest has gdd. My eldest particularly loved the games room, fantastic idea. Shower block were lovely and clean, showers weren’t too hot for the kids either. We had a super pitch and it really big and private. Nothing was too much trouble, the people who worked there would go out of their way to help you. A really lovely site and fantastic for people with families.

Just returned from our second visit to Oakdown and again, what an amazing site! Staff again very friendly and helpful, even accommodating our request to extend our stay with them. Lovely site with a dedicated dog walk. Exceptionally well situated to explore the many assets the south west has to offer. Wonderful facilities, nicely spaced pitches so you don’t feel on top of each other, certainly hard pushed to believe that there are 150 pitches at this site plus storage. We can not recommend this site enough, when we returned here, it felt like returning home. This site is superb with excellent facilities and welcoming staff. Looking forward to returning next year.

This is our 3rd or 4th visit to Oakdown we used to stay in the statics years ago but now have a touring caravan. It is a fabulous site so quiet and well kept. The facilities are second to none always spotless and I never had to queue for shower and we came over the Easter holiday. The staff could not be more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We have booked to come back again this October and can’t wait. When we can no longer tow we will store our caravan here and stay at this site all the time love love love it. Sidmouth is only a short drive down hill and has lovely shops and cafes, we also go to Lyme regis which is not too far away. The hare and hounds towards honiton down lanes does a fabulous carvery and is a ten minute drive away.

A gem of a site. We were staying with friends overnight and we felt the site was superbly looked after, the toilet/wash block was possibly the nicest we had ever used. We particularly liked the information about radar and local history posted on the wall there as you go in.

We would love to visit again.

Excellent facilities and staff. Stayed here for two nights in late May – Really friendly staff with excellent facilities including toilets, showers, shop, cafe etc.

I have to throughly congratulate you on exceptional levels of customer service and the fantastic attitude of staff – always with a friendly hello or comment no matter who it was.

Hoping to come again soon.
